The Fayetteville Marksmen are injecting a strong dose of hardcore to jumpstart their 2023-24 season. On November 4 you can celebrate Pro Wrestling Night at the Crown Coliseum with the hardcore legend and WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley!
The Fayetteville Marksmen are certainly pulling out all the stops for Pro Wrestling night with Mick Foley inspired jerseys and hats decked in the superstar’s signature flannel print. But if it’s face time with the hardcore hero you’re after, then you want to look into buying a VIP ticket.
Your purchase of a VIP ticket to the event will get you a seat at center ice for the Marksmen game, as well as a meet-and-greet, photo op, and Q+A session with Foley (no word on whether Mr. Socko will be available for photos as well). You’ll get to meet one of the most iconic figures in WWE history, and ask questions and hear stories from the Mickster himself. You’ll also have the option of adding on a Marksmen Championship belt to your purchase, which you can have autographed by Mick as well. You can buy your VIP tickets here.
Mick Foley is a perennial favorite amongst longtime wrestling fans. During WWE’s Attitude Era of the late 90s, Foley stood out as a charismatic, tough-as-nails combatant who seemed to relish in the pain that was inflicted on him. And we’re talking a LOT of pain. While he has a long and illustrious Hall of Fame career to look back on, Mick’s defining moment in WWE was his Hell In A Cell match against The Undertaker in 1998, where he was famously thrown off – and later through – the top of the cell! It’s a moment that is ingrained in every wrestling fan’s brain, and it’s what elevated Mick Foley to the pantheon of wrestling greats.
Given his rough-and-tumble brawling style and reckless abandon for his own well-being, Mick Foley fits the atmosphere of a hockey game like a barbed wire-wrapped glove. The Marksmen surely can’t wait to host the hardcore legend as they kick off a new season. Come on out to Pro Wrestling Night on November 4th and, in the words of Mrs. Foley’s baby boy, “have a nice day!“
