The Today Show will soon air without Kathie Lee Gifford.
The announcement was made during the show today, as Gifford tried to fight back tears.
Back in 2008, the former co host of Live With Regis and Kathie Lee, said that she had initially only planned on staying on The Today Show for one year — But her journey stretched beyond one year.
Throughout the years, Gifford has made life long friendships and has nothing but fond memories of her time on the show.
According to Page Six, Gifford will exit the show on April 7, 2019.
