As of Saturday morning, virtually all of our area got significant snowfall. Some areas have 3-5 inches at spots. Temperatures are expected to stay very cold today, so much of the precipitation will ice over, creating dangerous driving conditions.

- Cumberland County Schools: 2 hour early release Thursday, asynchronous remote learning Friday (Read more here)
- Robeson County Schools: Asynchronous remote learning day on Friday.
- Hoke County Schools: Remote learning day on Friday.
- Lee County Schools: Closed Friday.
- Moore County Schools: Closed for students Friday, optional workday for staff.
- Richmond County Schools: Closed for students Friday, optional workday for staff.
- Scotland County Schools: Remote learning day on Friday.
- Bladen County Schools: Remote learning day on Friday.
- Harnett County Schools: Closed Friday, teacher workday.
- Fayetteville Academy: Lower School cancelled Friday, Fayetteville Academy campus closed. Middle and Upper School will proceed with virtual class on D day schedule.
- Fayetteville Technical Community College: Remote learning day on Friday. Saturday classes cancelled.
- Methodist University: Moving most classes and activities to online. Check with your instructors.
- Fayetteville State University: Friday and Saturday classes switching to virtual. On-site COVID vaccine and testing suspended.
- Robeson Community College: Closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but operating remote classes.
- UNC Pembroke: All classes and activities cancelled for Friday.
- Central Carolina Community College: Closed for all activities Friday and Saturday.

Government & Medical Operations
- Fayetteville Regional Airport: American Airlines has cancelled all Friday flights. Delta currently still remains on schedule at this time. (9:30 p.m. Thursday)
- Cumberland County: Government offices and courts closed Friday, including COVID-19 testing sites and library locations. Government offices, animal services, public libraries and solid waste sites all closed Saturday as well.
- SHELTER: Cumberland County will operate a shelter at Smith Recreation Center, 1520 Slater Ave. from 4 p.m. Thursday until noon on Saturday.
- City of Fayetteville: Offices and city hall closed Friday. Solid waste collection moved to Monday, January 24. Tuesday’s collection will be moved to Wednesday.
- FAST Bus System: Normal service until 7 p.m. Thursday. No services Friday. Resuming normal service at noon Saturday, pending weather conditions.
- Hope Mills: Town offices closed Friday.
- Town of Spring Lake: Offices closed Friday.
- Cape Fear Valley Health: The following facilities will have closures or modified hours this weekend:
- Center Pharmacy – Closed
- Hoke Pharmacy – Closed
- Valley Pharmacy – Reduced hours – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
- HealthPlex – Closed Saturday; Normal hours Sunday
- Bladen ExpressCare – Reduced hours – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

- Premiere Pediatrics in Lillington – Closed

- Fort Bragg: Reduced manning on Friday, with only mission-essential soldiers and weather essential civilians to report.
- Gate closures: Machester, Reilly, Canopy, Knox East, Butner gates will all be closed. All other gates operating as normal.
- DoDEA Schools: Closed for both in-person and remote instruction.
- Womack Army Medical Center: Open with reduced staffing.
- Child Development Centers: Baez School Age Center and Baugess Child Development Center open for essential staffing only from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Exchange and Commissaries: Closed on Friday.
