Victims Rushed To Hospital After Shooting During High School Football Game

Two people were shot during a high school football game in Wellington, Florida on Friday night.

According to the Palm Beach Post, the shooting occurred during a game between Palm Beach Central and William T. Dwyer.

People inside the stadium immediately ran for cover.

Police were dispatched to the scene shortly after 9 p.m., amid reports of shots fired.

When they arrived, they found two male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to a nearby hospital. Neither victim is a student.

As of this morning, one of the victim’s is listed in critical condition.

The condition of the other victim is not known at this time, however, both men remain in the hospital as of this posting.

Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, saying they heard four gunshots near the band seating area.

Moments later, people started evacuating the area — As police arrived on scene.

At this time, police have not named a suspect in the case.

The investigation is ongoing.
